Mass Appeal Records-signade rapparen Fashawn från Fresno i Californien släppte debutskivan “Boy Meets World” för knappt sex år sedan. Förra året signade västkustrapparen till Nas-etiketten under Mass Appeal och som en av de första fullängdarna på bolaget släpps nu “The Ecology”. Med skivan följer även öppenhjärtlig dokumentär.

Throughout the 16-minute documentary, we meet a number of people who play a huge role in his life. The clip opens up with his mother explaining drug addiction from an early age, with different insights from her guardian and Fash’s social worker. Everyone from his cousin and best friend to Evidence and Exile talk about his come-up and the journey he’s taken from Fresno to signing to Nas.
